FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions I get most often, with a short answer. Is yours not here? Feel free to send me a message.
Working together
Who do I build websites for?
For businesses and entrepreneurs who need a website or a web app.
Do I also work outside Ghent?
Yes, I work everywhere, not just in and around Ghent.
How much does a website cost?
That depends on what you need. I set a price for each project, which is why there are no fixed prices on this site. Tell me what you're looking for, and you'll get a proposal.
How does a project work?
In three steps. First we make a plan together, and I design a prototype you can review and adjust. Then I build your website or app and test everything. Finally, your site goes live.
How long does it take to build a website?
That differs per project. I make a custom timeline, based on how big your website will be.
What do you need to get started?
A problem that needs solving, and the brand behind it: your texts, photos, logo and so on. Plus a rough plan or outline of what you expect. I can arrange the domain name for you, or you can bring your own.
After launch
Who takes care of hosting and maintenance?
I do, by default, so your website stays secure and up to date. Prefer to host it yourself? Then you get all the files.
Can you have changes made after launch?
Yes. New features or changes are possible through monthly support. If you choose the support package, I stay available for support and changes.
Can you edit texts or photos yourself?
If you'd like, I build your website so you can edit texts and photos yourself.
Technical
Will your website work on phones?
Yes. Every website is fast, clear and good-looking on every screen, from phone to desktop, so your customers find what they're looking for right away.
Will your website be found on Google?
I take care of that. I add the SEO and GEO optimisations needed to be found: in search engines like Google, and in AI assistants like ChatGPT.
Do I also build web apps?
Yes, from a handy tool to a complete platform with accounts, payments and AI. That's how I built Noli Study, a learning platform for students that works in the browser and as an app on your phone.
What technology do I use?
I choose it per project, based on what you want to achieve, for example Next.js, React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL. And I always think ahead: your website or app should be easy to maintain and able to grow.
